On the way i drove home i see this old lady in the cempaka putih traffic light want to knocking on my door wishing some coins from this young driver. Yes she's a beggar. As he came closer,I just raise my hand to sign her that I'm not intrested to give her anything. She stand back, the traffic light went green, i drove.
Suddenly, i felt something in my heart and a question fly on my mind :"what the hell is an old lady doing at this hour? Why she begging some quarter at this moment? Nobody wants to do what she did... neither does she... If she do not need the money that urgent, she will not do what she did" and those kind of questions rushing on my mind and made my heart getting more uncomfortable. So i decide to get back to where she was and give her a fifty thousand rupiah from my pocket. Not a small amount, but i feel comfortable while i considering how much i will give her. And, yes, she's very happy. And i feel i'm doin' the right thing. Its true, it is happier to give than receive, like Jesus said.
